Pilates is all about bringing the body into greater balance, and couldn’t we all use a little bit of that?! The matwork class explores both strength and flexibility (or lack of!) using the Pilates principles (centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow) to create longer, leaner, toned muscles improving posture and ease of movement. Classes are light-hearted, fun and welcoming to all levels of fitness.

The great thing about Pilates is its truly accessible to everyone. Class groups are a mixture of all ages, backgrounds and body types, some students just starting out and many who have been practicing for years. We all come with a common goal, to better our health and look after our bodies.

In every class each student is nurtured and no one is left behind, the classes are skilfully designed to accommodate all levels from beginners to those who are more advanced. Students say the leave a little taller, lighter, brighter, more relaxed and in tune with their bodies and most importantly can’t wait to come back!



Nikki’s classes are wonderfully effective, fun and engaging. Nikki’s best quality as a teacher is the way in which she works progressively and intuitively with her students, both individually and as a class. Having attended pilates for many years, my best results have undoubtedly been with Nikki.
